About Me 👨💻
I’m Benjamín Fernández Carrasco, a technology enthusiast 🖥️ whose journey began in the magical 1980s 📼. My fascination with computing was sparked by the ZX Spectrum 🕹️, that little 8-bit computer that revolutionized a generation 👾. I spent countless hours ⏳ at its keyboard ⌨️, devouring every page 📖 of MicroHobby magazine 📰 and experimenting with Basic 🔤, opening doors to an infinite universe of possibilities 🌌.
One book 📚 that deeply influenced my youth was The Internal PC 💾. It wasn’t just a manual 📑; it was a roadmap 🗺️ to a completely new level of technical understanding 🛠️ in system development. Thanks to it, I honed my skills 🧠 in C++ 💻, a language that became my favorite tool 🛠️ for creating and solving problems 🔧. That phase solidified my love ❤️ for programming 👨💻 and gave me the confidence ✨ to tackle more ambitious projects 🏗️.

My work at Atos has allowed me to collaborate on the world’s leading cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud. I’ve developed code-based infrastructure (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. Additionally, I’ve worked with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Octane. My expertise extends to monitoring with LogicMonitor, service management with ServiceNow, deployments on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and performance testing with LoadRunner Cloud.
Mastering languages like Python 🐍, Java ☕, and C++ 💻, as well as frameworks such as React ⚛️ and Angular 📐, has enabled me to create scalable and effective solutions. I also have experience with both relational and non-relational databases 🗄️.
